Perfect Firmware for our gamepad

First of all thanks to sigma.nl, for his JFG firmware, and to the spanish guy creator of the auto microsd swap and the best boot screen for our gamepad.

I used this 2 firmwares as a base to mine. The specs are:



- Rooted

- Removing unnecessary applications but in Google Play (Plus One, Maps, Streets, etc …)

- Elimination of the Chinese character keyboard.

- Antutu benchmark

- Blackmart

- ES File explorer

- All Archos apps (you can remove them if you dont want them)

- Auto swap between internal memory and microSD card

- Boot screen with a gamepad image with android logo

- Improved performance of RAM, CPU and GPU.



Important: Rom is a FULL WIPE all userdata will be delete and you need CWM to flash the rom (follow the tutorial to install the CWM recovery image): http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/arc ... s-gamepad/

Great, but I can´t enter flash mode on my Gamepad. Holding - and + Vol at the same time while connecting the Cable nothing happens. According to this guide http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/arc ... s-gamepad/ you just press vol buttons at the game time right?

Nevemind got it working. By the way would the Siyah kernel work on this rom? Or is that rom just for Galaxy S3?

I'm getting my gamepad in a few days (ordered from staples.com $110) and was wondering if anyone has used this or any other custom firmware on the gamepad sucessfully and if so what are some benefits you can see? TY
