Weird Malfunction

Hello.

I'm experiencing the most amazing (although not funny) malfunction I've ever seen.

My Archos sometimes is swell and working like a rocket, but most of the time the screen is white/grey, full of stripes (all in gray scale) and I cannot do anything to change it (the change happens miraculously when IT wants, some days/hours later).

Have you ever experienced something similar?

Yes. My 2nd one, a replacement for the first which had GPS and HDMI issues, did the same thing right out of the box. Shortly afterwards, it made a crackling sound like an electrical arc. I returned it and got the 3rd one, which works like a charm. I recommend you do the same.
