Confused with announced 97b Platinum HD

I currently own a Archos 101 G9 Turbo 1.5Ghz 250Gb that I bought thinking it was the top of the line at that time but it came with 512 Mb RAM when the same model got an upgrade to 1Gb few weeks later. Now I am on waiting list for the new 97 Platinum HD with Allwinner processor. Even before that model becomes available, Archos is announcing a 97b HD with Rockchip processor. Does anybody know the technical specs of this new model? Is this an upgraded version of the 97 Platinum? How could you know that you are getting the top of the line Archos tablet if they keep launching new models all the time?
