move data from tablet to sd card.

Help peeps!! I've been trying move some of the apps and music/video files onto the SD card on my cobalt 80, but every time I try and move the files over, it statesthat they have moved, but they haven't moved at all.When I go to the storage category in settings and look at SD storage the space its empty. The new SDcard is a 32Gb hc.
Pls help!!

You can use the app called app2sd that will transfer your files and apps to your SD card

You can't move apps to an external sd card, when it says the apps have been moved it means that some of the app data has been moved to the sd card part of the internal memory, you have 1gb reserved for apps and about 5gb that is called sd card on your tablet, so when you install an app it gets installed to the 1gb partition and when you use the move to sd card option it just moves some of the app data to the 5gb partition and not external sd card.
