I can't upgrade my Archos 80 Cobalt

I was read all post about upgrading and recovery mode but I can't get on Recovery Mode.
This http://www.archos.com/support/support_t ... ang=en&g=9 doesn't work for me.
When I copy .AOS file to root directory and I want to open it, what software should I use to open it, or how to go to recovery mode, when I do power button + "volume -" I can just see android logo with exclamation mark and nothing happen. I have 4.0.4 firmware and I want fix my no sound on skype. So anyone can help me please?

OK, so do you have any links how to go to recovery mode or how to upgrade it ?

There may be an extended cobalt user guide in archos.com . Why not post your problem rather than grabbing for random fixes that may not exist? And note that the cobalt section is organized under the generation 10 / elements and definitely not the gen 9 category here.

Just search archos.com for the firmware download area... if there is a cobalt one, compare the version number to your own.
