Archos Vision A30VC problem.

Anyone else had problems trying to charge a Vision A30VC?
After plugging in the lead from the unit into the laptop USB port, the indicator shows its charging the battery for about 5 seconds, then the screen goes blank except for that squiggly logo in the centre.
Any ideas chaps?
