Slow charge even when using original wall socket adaptor?!
Slow charge even when using original wall socket adaptor?!
Hi, i just spent about half an hour reading trough all the posts about slow charge issue. I havent found anything similar to my problem though. All of a sudden after 3 months of using my g9 101 16gb, my original wall socket adaptor is charging the device in "slow charge" mode. I am not able to charge the device at all, or if i am, it takes ages. It was working perfectly ok all the time. Now it is not. Is the charger broken? Is the tablets USB port broken? Thanks for replies

Had the same problem. Sent back to Archos under an RMA for a replacement. New machine has been fine.

Sorry I don't know. I contacted Archos and explained the problem and was asked to return it which I did. 1 week later a new machine arrived as a replacement.

I had the same problem but I bought a new high speed USB lead seemed to fix it

Sometimes, I found a reboot sometimes (but not always) helped with the slow charge issue.
However, I spotted the wall charger thread on here and I've started using my phone's charger. That has never given me a slow charge message telling me to use the correct charger (unlike the Archos one supplied with the unit)!
