Video Problem 101 G9 250 GB

When viewing videos on my G9 250 GB model (avi movies, mainly), after a while the video playback begins to hesitate. I have to reboot to eliminate the problem, but the hesitation reappears again after a while. I know it's not a problem with the video, because the same video plays flawlessly on my computer and iPad. Has anyone else noticed this problem, and, if so, is there a fix? Archos support simply told me it was a problem with the video and not the player's software.

I used to have a similar problem on my 80 G9, it got solved by installing the latest firmware. If that's not it, I don't know...

Well I have the latest firmware, but customer service won't acknowledge the problem
