Just bought - not turning on

I just received via post my new 101 G9 250gb turbo.

Opened up, plugged in, and it will not turn on at all. When I press the power button, the screen lights up just a tiny bit, stays on for about 5 seconds, then turns off.

I tried factory reset, but nothing.

Before I send back to place of purchase, any suggestions?
