USB port loose

I am happy with the features of my recently bought Archos 101 G9 with the 1,5 GHz processor running ICS 407. GPS and Wifi are running very good, with better Wifi quality as my Dell Laptop and more GPS satellites and accuracy as my Samsung Monte mobile.
But I just tested the USB port for attachung a USB disk drive, and I am astonished that the rear USB port moves nearly 1 cm out of the case when stripping the cable. The port moves into case when connecting the cable and comes out when detaching/pulling. (If interested in, I can send a picture).

As a novice I would like to know, if that is normal, or have I to return my Archos for repair.

It's normal. Somewhere on this forum it was mentioned this was done to be able to pull out the 3G stick a bit for better connectivity.
