xbox wireless controller still working? did ics break it?

been messing around with my 101g9 and so far love it apart from some minor issues (soon to be posted) I've been looking into using a game pad on my tablet but seem to not bad having any sucess.
by accounts the Xbox 360 controller with official PC USB adapter should work however I can't seem to get it to do so. I plug in and nothing happens. I did read one post that said ics broke their Xbox controller support but gave ps3 support iinstead.
can anyone confirm if this is the case?

I do have two USB controllers I tried but again nothing. I did however wonder if the lack of drivers would have prevented this. I'm sure I read somewhere game pad/ xbox controller support in ice.
I would be greatful if someone could clear this up for me.
