ARCHOS 101 - RETAIL RIP-OFF

I was in Florida when I bought my Archos 101 IT. I had checked on the net and saw the price of approx. US$299.00. But this retailer - DIGITAL WORLD INC at BAYSIDE (BH WORLD) tricked me into paying $699.99. I was told that the internet price is only the price to the Retailer from the manufacturer. I now realize that I was cheated out of $400.00. What a rip-off. Customers be warned of these companies.

Not sure what you're upset about, obviously you thought the device was worth 700 dollars to you when you bought it or do you always pay whatever someone wants for something even if you don't think it's worth that to you?. Most people go to retailers to play with devices then buy for cheaper price online, I guess you like to operate a little different.

Hopefully you're Mommy took your credit card away from you.

I have a 2 year old A101 that is worth about 50 bucks in my opinion, but I'll let you have it for 300 if you want it.

I bought my A101it in the sale in HMV as it was an old model. Love the screen size - I paid £129 for it here in England in 2011
