I try to convert Blu-ray to AVI video formats using Holeesoft, but there are different types of AVI formats including AVI-H264, AVI-DivX, AVI-XviD, AVI-MPEG-4, AVI-MSMPEG-4, etc.
What are the differences between these AVI formats?
What are the differences between these AVI formats?
Re: What are the differences between these AVI formats?
Google the terms "avi format" and "avi formats explained" and you will find all the information you need - and more!!
Basically, AVI isn't a video format, but a container format which specifies how data streams (in this case video, audio, etc.) inside it are organised, but does not define how these data themselves are organised. That is the task of a codec.
So, the simple answer to your question is that there is no difference in the AVI format of those video formats, but the codecs are different!!
Hope that helps.
