You're on the wrong place.
Your tablet is the Andoid 3.2 Honeycomb tablet, considered by Archos as a Gen 9.

I don't think the 70b is considered a Gen9. I think it's like a "second generation G8". I know that doesn't make any sense, but I'm fairly confident that it isn't a Gen9 device.

If you look on the Archos site, it's listed with the "Internet Tablets" which is what all the G8 models are. All the G9s are listed as "G9 Tablets".

Originally, it came with FW Android 2.2, and considered it as Gen 8. Then they upgraded the OS to Android 3.2 and becomes Gen 9. So now , you can either use the FW 2.2 or FW 3.2 on 70bIT. Apparently, not too many people talk about it here.
I wish they will let that happens to all the gen 8 devices.

This is sadly not the case, the 70b that came with froyo will not take the 3.2 upgrade

I don't think you want to see how Honeycomb 3.2 runs with 256MB of RAM...

You can't install 3.2 on a froyo 70b.

Really? So now it is more confusing. What is the difference between them other than the OS? One has more ram/faster chip than the other or what? And where you saw the info that said it is not upgradeable? Anyone has the old froyo 70b?

people with the 70b froyo have attempted the upgrade and it has failed, in some cases bricked their device - this seems like confirmation that the 70b froyo is not the same as the 70b honeycomb, even though they appear to have identical hardware
