BT Mouse : use "G-Remote Pro" on Phone to control Archos 101

Hello World .... need help !!

I'd got myself a BT keyboard for my Archos 101 , works like a charm . Then something told me I need a BT mouse too .
Searched & found nothing below $30-40 as reliable .

Then this idea dawned ! Why not use the app G-Remote Pro to turn my Windows Mobile 6.1 phone ( Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 ) as a Virtual Mouse / Touchpad ... to navigate my Archos tablet ?

After browsing the net , I realised that this app ( for WinMo / Android phones ) is to use the phone for PC/MAC .... nothing is mentioned about using it to navigate a tablet PC

Moreover , one needs to install the EXE file on "PC/MAC" apart from CAB/APK on the "phone" , to make this work

Now I'm stumped !! How do I install the EXE on my Archos 101 ? Archos only accepts APKs as programs

Please anyone .... could I get some tips to make this happen ? I dont need too many BT devices to be paired with my Archos . Using my phone as a BT mouse sounded perfect !

Hello Taylor - I totally agree . EXE doesnt work on android devices .

All I needed to know is "how to make my mobile phone a remote mouse for A101 using GRemote which works fine for PC/MAC"

Archos has the Archos Remote if you have an Android phone, beyond that, it's basically impossible without significant modding of the Archos.

If you have an old dumb phone from Sony Ericsson, there is a pre-installed program called "Remote Control" Once you BT connect your tablet with your phone, you can use that program to control your tablet, just like a BT mouse. I use mine all the time to control my Archos while using the hdmi output for movie. You can ask your friends if they have one that they no longer use.

Hey, thanks for the input. so that means you CAN run a 'remote' app from your phone WITHOUT having to instal any mating software on the Archos . Just BT pairing is enough .

Yes and No. You can run that pre-installed program on Sony Ericsson's phones but you cannot install the same program on other phones. The software comes with the OS itself. More like the stock browser from Android OS, pre-installed.
And yes, you don't need to install anything on your Archos, just BT connect them and it works.
I use Sony Ericsson all my life. The one I have now and the last 2 phones that I have all have the same program pre-installed. They are just dumb phones, not Android OS, or Windows.
