over using the media device option on the dish receiver.( using front usb port)
As of about 6 weeks ago anything I copy(SD videos) copies over to the pocketdish will not play .
I get the file, a thumbnail comes up but the video will go black and shut down the pocket dish. I can still play any videos recorded from earlier time frame
I understand that dish does not support this equipment but my question is did something change on the vip622
software that may be causing this.
I had tested the hard drive of the pocket dish by copying picture files and music files over
and they work with no issue. have run chdsk no issues .
That is way I am thinking there was a change to the vip622 software and/or file encryption. all files are still copied over as dpd files. I read somewhere that dish may be using mp3 format now?
Any help or direction would be appreciated.
