somethings not quiet right

Hi guys,

have we been hacked or is board bugs showing ugly heads again???
i ask as i just went to remove another fooking spammer with over 140 posts and the admin panel frooze up, i then re loaded and was able to remove the spammer (as thats all we seem to do now).
Anyways, under the main site index its now showing no posts for off topic room and there are a load of posts that dont belong thier...
i didnt move them and nothing is showing on the logs, maybe a server reboot maybe needed.
also under the reported posts (as of 1417 gmt) there are no reported posts, yet on the wiki thread its showing a reported posts - if you check there are none...

There was a spammer last night that had something like 46 posts, and I thought some of the topics that were posted in seemed like normal topics, but they were all in the OT section as well.

I can see the "reported" post you're talking about, and just like you I don't see any actual post. I think the forum is acting up.

Edit: Also when I read a thread, it still shows up as new. I can't mark any threads as read right now.

yeah i agree, its not just me then, ive emailed nicholas to see if he can do a remote reboot.

Alright, thanks for being on top of this Roy. There's definitely something strange happening, but hopefully it can all be sorted soon.

charbax is looking into it now,

spam has caused loads of problems, i think this is the first time its crashed the board.....
its almost a full time job now keeping this place clean..
