Google Music app force closes on A101

I tried the new Google Music app out on my A101. It force closes frequently. The one time I was able to get to the point of pressing play on a song, the tablet locked up. Has anyone else tried this app on their Gen8? Any workarounds?

I tried Google Music 4.0.9 and did experience force closures.
I was able to play music only by doing a search as the first thing after starting the app.
Pressing the screen too much really seems to annoy the app and cause a force closure.

I am using Urukdroid 1.6rc2
