video transfer

hi guys, new to the forum and a novice with computers needing some advice,how do i transfer videos off my laptop onto my archos 2 vision. i presume i need to convert them but don't know what to ie. is it avi,mpeg or something else ,basically i need someone to tell me what to convert it to ,thanks

I dunno, but you can start with specifications and user guide from archos web pages. This is probably the wrong one, but you can navigate to your device from here http://www.archos.com/products/mp3_play ... us&lang=en

(make sure you set the resolution of the playerÔÇÖs screen to 220x176).
