I've also read reports that they are popping up in MediaMarkt (brick & mortar) shops in The Netherlands.
But MediaMarkt is a German chain.

Most of he dutch online shops have these in stock, plenty of them that is.
There is one shop that lists 30+ in stock.

Only problem is, none have Archos G9 in stock.

We are not discussing the whole line of Archos.
This thread is only for Archos 80 G9.
