how to enable haptic feedback? am I being a bit thick!

After the frustrations of my 70s not having haptic feedback I bought the 80 as all the web sites said it had it. I can't find it anywhere in the settings though.

Can anyone help?

Settings > Language and input > keyboard settings > configur input methods > Android keyboard > settings > general > vibrate on keypress

I'm on the latest firmware and I only have an option for vibrate feedback when I select japanese ime but selecting this as the input method is useless, not only do I not speak Japanese but the keyboard doesn't pop up anyway!

even with the option selected in thumb keyboard it doesn't work. Strange that you don't get the option for haptic feedback on the unlock pattern options in the security settings either.

Haptic is working on stock keyboard for me. Also working on unlock screen.

Z-device test app detects my vibrator but on the test screen the 'press to test' doesn't work. Damn have they broke it in the firmware update? I only took the bloody things out of their boxes a minute ago!

Downgrading has fixed the haptic feedback and the USB port on the back, Archos testing is obviously rubbish! I just need the gtalk apk and I'm sorted.
