GPS look like no fuction or not working, test with gps check and google map... nothing detect.

Camera just show up everything with light, bright. If use camera to take a landscape photo you just get a black photo.

I dont know for the GPS but for the Camera Craig from archos said the next FW will correct this things. Anyways this is a bad things , and looks like baby faults , from archos.

My android 2.3.5 can use wifi for agps lock so honeycomb should too. The thing I wan't to know is can it take agps from the 3g. I think it should be same as wifi that it doesn't relay on any specific hardware and it works as long as you have some kind of internet connection.

Checked in location : wifi + gps + google => I'm now in Viet Nam with my friend wifi it detect me in Cali (US), another cafe wifi it show me in China... but in my home it now correct... lol

--> New : I charged full battery -> unplug charge -> power off -> power on -> battery 15% -> plug charge -> battery run fast from 15% to 80% then charge continue => this happened 3 times.
--> New : I started charge in 8pm at 4% battery -> power off when charging -> 7am unplug charge -> power on -> battery show 18% => now i'm recharging and post this.
--> New : I can use USB storage, microsd cardreader in 3g slot -> can not use wire mouse or wireless mouse (all these things work good with microusb adapter out side)

Wifi based agps usually only works if there's someone there with an android phone walking around. By default, Android phones scan their surroundings gather router id's and uploads them to the google server along with the GPS coordinates. If there's no one running google maps, the database isn't gonna get updated.

What it really does take the routers device id and search for it in googles database, and it returns the coordinates of that router.

agps originally didn't work in my house. Then i tried tethering to my phones GPS via bluetooth, that was apparently enough for the googles spyw... err... mapping feature to kick in and started scanning my street. The very next day, agps worked and instantly homes in to my house.

Craig, can you check what kind of GPS chip is inside? Navlink 6.0? I'm thinking about buying 80 G9 as a car navigation device for my parents (they'd love big screen navi), but i'm not sure how reliable GPS would be without any assist (Wifi or 3G).

Another problem is that I can not find a suitable car holder for it. Are some official accessories planned? Or maybe you can point me to some suitable universal holder?

That's an excellent question. Also, I have a related question for someone who has a G9 - how long (on average) it takes for the gps to get a lock w/o wifi? I've found that this can vary a great deal - my previous to Nokia phones both took 3-6 minutes to get a gps lock if they didn't have a data connection (and only if I stood completely still), while my Dell Streak (an utterly lovely device) only takes around a minute to get a lock w/o a data connection (and does so almost instantly with one). When you try this, IME best results come from standing outdoors, in the open.

Yea, I get a feeling some people expect a GPS to lock inside a flat or a pub. 1.2-1.5GHz radiation does not really good at wall penetration, people.

Both my Dell and Nokia phones could get a lock indoors w/o a data connection, but only very near a large window.

New : my Archos 8o 8gb very hot while : charging + surf web wifi.
New : surf web wifi + charge = 6h from 15% - 89%.
