Why get the Archos 4.3 and not just stick with a Smartphone?

I want a current device just without a phone and data plan.: 1; 50%

My Smartphone can't do this heavy lifting without the battery croaking.: 0; No votes

Smartphones are best kept as phones.: 0; No votes

I needed a Tablet that can actually fit into my pocket.: 1; 50%

Good points and advice TMC!

Also from the other comments, wifi has definitely been a great help to make us a little less dependent on these cell phone conglomerate data plans!
