Arnova 7 officially in the USA, Europe

The Arnova 7 seems to be officially released in the USA, Europe.

Has anyone tried it yet?

How is the performance? What kind of games can it play well? What games will not play?

Can one install Gingerbread (Android 2.3)? How about the official Google Android market?

(Also: Maybe we should change the name of this forum from Arnova 10, Arnova 8 to Arnova 10, Arnova 8, Arnova 7 .)

I see that this is the only Arnova running FroYo, but I wonder which CPU this is running. If it's the old CPU, I'll wait and get the new ones. If it's the new CPU, I'll probably pick one up this week.

It says it is a resistive touchscreen, so it must be the old CPU. The new CPU is supposed to also come with capacitive touchscreen I think.

Anyway, I think it's the RK2818, otherwise it would have been advertised on the front page.

Just came across this ad from Pc Richards a ny metro are electronics retailer. http://www.pcrichard.com/catalog/produc ... lNo=501772. Perhaps it is an error but it clearly states anrdroid 2.3 twice. Still no specs on cpu.

Seems Arnova 7 has diappeared from the face of the earth or at least here in US. Was advertised at PC Richards original
shipping date of June 28 then expected shipping date July 4th. Now when I search for Arnova on PC Richards site comes
up no matches. Don't see it being sold anywhere online. What Gives.
