Un Banning

All, I am trying to unban this IP 70.161.250.169

I can see how you unban a name (which I did unban) but I cannot see how to unban a IP address. Will the IP automatically unban when you unban the user name or is it a seperate action? Thanks all.

hi mate, what you need to do is re ban the ip but time it to 30 mins this will overwrite the perm ban, ive already done this so the ban will fall of shortly for you.
With our avalible tools we cant unban ip addys so this is currently the only way to do this.

That's exactly what I am doing since yesterday here in Denver. Other than having fun and eating Barbecue. I'll keep you updated on the big G9 forum update and some free early G9 samples for the mods, hopefully. Now I know the guys from Archos US and they want to help us better with the forum.

I think that Archos USA will find this site to a wealth of valuable information. IMHO the feedback they could get from some of the very talented members is priceless.

Find out if they plan to release any other gen 9 sizes before the Xmas - New Year holidays.

Also, as a fellow American, they better be treating you nice.

Ooooh that would be a nice surprise. I'm all for beta testing for Archos, and having some fun with new toys.

To unban the easy way
Just go to the ban IP page, and highlight (left click) the IP you want to unban (or multiple IPs with Ctrl+ left-click).
Then don't do any other options, just click the bottom "Submit" button.
It will ask you if you want to carry out the operation, click yes.
Done!

If you want to check it, just go to back to the list of IPs and it shouldn't be on the list anymore.

I just tried it out with the first IP on there (did it twice) and it worked without a problem.

For Whats Its Worth - I have a 605. I got it as soon as it was released. I joined this site right after I got it. That is how long I have been waiting for Archos's beta test models for the mods.
