Will Archos always be a day late??
So these new devices aren't coming until the end of September which means late October most likely. By then devices with better brand recognition and simular specs and price points will be out. I'm really liking the looks of the 8 in device and I love the whole 3G dongle thing(how's that going to work in the US btw). I would grab one tomorrow if it was avalible but by fall? The Huawei MediaPad could have the Archos 8 G9 beat. Why Archos? Why?

well to be fair the gen8's came out pretty much before most of the others did. and the ones it did come out after because of the delay it was pretty much better than.
the rate at which technology in this area is coming out is , frankly, ridiculous. things are becoming hideously out of date in just a year... and it seems to be getting less and less timewise.
I'm looking at getting a transformer, but when i sit back and think about it, its a 1ghz cpu.. its really only just come out in the last month... but ones of much faster/newer tech cpu's will be coming out in the next couple of months.
I'd wait to get an archos , but the new models are pretty big and ugly compared to the sleekness of the a101 gen8
i'd rather have the bulk of the asus with all the goodies that that actually promises and delivers (ie 1gb ram, gorilla glass, IPS screen... whereas archos hasnt mentioned any of this for gen9)
.... although minds were made to be changed.
