Arnova 10 problem with SD card and internal storage-pls help

After installing a custom Android 2.1 ROM, my Arnova 10 cannot recognize SD card nor its internal storage. When plugging into computer via USB cable, I can still access my SD card -- but I can't see the internal storage from computer. Have tried re-formatting SD card many times but it didn't work. Is there any way I can put my internal/external storage to work again? May I flash a new ROM without using the SD card? Or I guess a mount command may help to mount the SD card? Please help.

Really appreciate any recommendation since I'm desperate. Thank you!

P.S. Already root my device with su and terminal emulator.

I went back to the stock rom,theres no stable custom rom for this yet.
