Hello everyone! I am new to the Archos product, and was wondering if there was any way to transfer a dvd to my archos 2ob vision? . If you could point me in the right drection it would be greatly appreciated! Programs I need to install and so on. Thanks for reading!

I think you are having the same problem I am.
Archos 20b (not 2ob as you have in your title) is shipped with no conversion software and absolutely NO information whatsoever on what video standards or formats it supports.
They even write on their website that it supports AVI, MPEG etc. but with the special note that some bitrates etc are not supported.
In my experience, since buying this unit a few days ago, it doesn't support ANY bitrates or video resolutions, none that I know about anyway.
Why is this soooooo difficult? It's advertised as an MP3 AND MP4 player but so far it will only play the short cartoon of a rabbit that is pre-loaded.
Anyone able to help with this? Anyone have the fabled Archos video conversion software I hear so much about and yet can't download from their website?
