photo viewer

can anyone suggest a replacement photo viewer for my A70/250 gallery app which takes forever to load photos if it does at all , displays loading new albums then takes a long time time then nothing then "encountered a problem and has to close" currently holds about 8,000 pics which my now dead 605 could handle like a breeze ..thanx

I had the same problem. After reading this board, I switched to just pictures. I had been happy since.

You can download gallery 3d from the market which looks similar to the picture viewer on the arch but is much faster loading folders.

I use free app Justpictures. It's the best photo viewer, better than apps in Apple Appstore!.

It is very fast and easy to use. You can also create a thumnail catalogue from your Flickr and Picasa photo album very easily and fast.

after reading this thread i tried just pictures on my 70 250gb its far smoother than the stock veiwer gonna try quick pictures if i can find it ! my market has copilot etc but sometimes the ordinary stuff aint there
anyone found a better video app


edit ; just tried qiuckpic is impressive but has visible rendering time when fast swiping full screen tried it half a dozen times against just pictures which on my tab is as smooth as silk
running adw with default cpu setting

btw if you like your pictures multipicture live wallpaper is amazing app for showing as wallpaper without the zoom in rubbish on android os (Archos should look at implementing something similar the screen looks so much better on home screens)

Justpictures has a LOT of options too, which can further improve things. But am I the only one who always gets pictures displayed in reverse order of time/alphabetical name? I don't know if this is a mediascan issue, or what, because it has happened with other tools. I turned the alphabetical option on with no luck.

now set up just pictures for my fliker acc its brilliant ,just like the photes are on my hard drive and very smooth transitions this app is a must for all gen 8,s imho
