Hello,
My friend had a problem with some video files recorded with the Archos AV100. These were files that were recorded. They play fine on the AV100, but when transferred to a PC, when playing them with the DIVX player on a PC in Windows XP, I am getting the following error:
Audio Format Not Supported
You may need an additional audio decoder to play the soundtrack of this file.
This file contains a track in the IMA4 Audio (code "17") format. You may need to install
a DirectShow decoder for this audio format in order to hear the soundtrack of this file.
I have tried the FFShow codec pack and this did not seem to help. I then read something about the IMA4 codec being common to Apple media files (i.e. Quicktime).QuickTime 7 was installed but this still did not fix the problem.
Can someone please tell me how to resolve this?
TIA
Mike
