Hi everyone
I own a Nokia E63 mobile phone and I'm planning on buying a car kit for my Archos 101 8GB tablet. I was wondering if there is a way/app to accept calls from my mobile phone on my Archos like some GPS devices (TomTom, Garmin, Mio ...) can? That way I could use my Archos as a sort of hands-free kit while I'm driving.
Cheers
Nick

Re: accept calls with Archos 101 over bluetooth
So you want to pair your phone with your A101, and then pair your A101 to your BT car kit?
Why would you bother putting the A101 in that sequence? Pair your phone with your car kit and be done with it.
Or by 'car kit' do you mean a window mount for your A101? That makes a bit more sense. Not sure if the Archos supports the headset profile, but if it does, then there's no reason it shouldn't work.

No that's not what I meant.
I have a Nokia E63. I am going to buy a car holder (I called it kit previously, but I mean holder + charger really) for my Archos 101 because I want to use it as a GPS and as in-car entertainment when I don't need directions. I would indeed pair my Nokia to my Archos over Bluetooth so that my Archos handles the calls. Imagine someone calls my on my mobile phone, I would like the possibility of my Archos alerting me of the incoming call and offer me the option to accept or deny. When I accept, the audio is patched through to my Archos so that in fact the Archos acts like a handsfree kit. It has a mic and speakers, so technically speaking it should be possible.
The question remains: has anyone here done it and is there an app for it on Mark
et?

Interested in this too. It should be theoretically possible since Nokia PC Suite can do it all over bluetooth (voice needs usb cable tho, but bluetooth should be able to handle it too), so there's nothing really stopping an app from doing the same on an android.
