HELP! My archos 70 keeps rebooting
HELP! My archos 70 keeps rebooting
Hi, I just received my archos 70 yesterday. After playing it for a while, I copied some movie and music via usb to it. Though the copy was stopped for unknown reason and my Win7 went bluescreen, I just restart the computer and unplug the usb cable. Then I reboot it. After that, the tragedy happened. It keeps rebooting. I tried entering recovery mode and tried check disk, reset android and media, format device and firmware 1.084 and 1.070. Still not working. It sometimes can show the screen where you can choose language but it doesn't respond and quickly reboot again. Does anyone know other way to solve the problem? Or I have to do an RMA now? Thanks a lot.

I believe to do a system restore you need to hold down the volume up button and the power on button (at the same time).vwpolo wrote:I am new to android. Sorry. I thought you were referring something else. I have already tried it as described in my first post. But still not working. Maybe I should just do the RMA then.

Re: HELP! My archos 70 keeps rebooting
I guess you mean copying the .aos file to the device then upgrade firmware. I have tried that. I also tried format device then it asks to connect usb and copy the .aos file and install the system. All is done without error but still not working. I also shut down the device and wait several hours and try again.r3v0Lut10n wrote:vwpolo wrote:Sorry. I thought you were referring something else. Re: HELP! My archos 70 keeps rebooting
Try running it with the power cord plugged in...it won't fix it but it might confirm my suspicion: sounds like a defective battery.
Re: HELP! My archos 70 keeps rebooting
i also tried that and it didn't help. Anyway I sent it back to the store. Hope they can fix it soon.jonnyw wrote:Try running it with the power cord plugged in...it won't fix it but it might confirm my suspicion: sounds like a defective battery.
