Just ordered Archos 101 from simplyelectronics instock!

This is what they wrote to me:

Regarding your order, after chasing up the order from our logistics department, I am afraid that due to backlogs, we are unable to deliver your order on time. Hence, there will be further delay.

I ordered an 101 8gb on Thursday 4.
If the delay is much big im gonna cancel the order, especially if in the meantime i found it somewhere else, like in the Archos website.

I just spoke to them on the phone and they said I should get a dispatch email monday afternoon. I'll post again then, with the outcome.

@Saku - maybe you should ring up and see if you get the same story?

I think they're first shipping all the devices to places like UK and US, and leaving other places as last, even though my order was made on Thursday 4. They keep telling me they are overwhelmed with orders...

Arrival date with City Link tracker is Monday

just tracked my shipment with city link and it says the order was on the van for delivery Saturday 13th between 07:30 and 17:30. Unfortunately no-one was in the house on Saturday & I have only just returned home now, but there is no card through the door to say delivery was attempted! I thought City link usually did this?

I'm hoping they will try to deliver tomorrow.

City link only deliver mon-fri so they wont have tried on sat

An update on 250 GB:

Just found out on the morning that there is no more any sign of my order on the SE site.

Called them, they said they have a problem with shipping this item (250GB) and that within an hour I will receive an email from them and decide if I wait or if I cancel.
