Works on my A32 - I'm posting this from it. It's a much improved experience now. This little media player could take some roles from my Droid Incredible phone to spare the phone's battery especially when I'm traveling.

Someone needs to strip this download to just the market app. I don't need googletalk... and can't seem to uninstall any of them as they're not in the uninstall list.

But Youtube works now :) How did that happen? Flash is suddenly supported????

Now when the the system boots, the flashing archos logo appears then a big droid logo comes up with an emergency button on the bottom left for a second, then the screen blanks and it goes back to the flashing archos logo again, and keeps repeating this.

I don't know what I did wrong or how to fix this- please help!
Power down the device by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
Then hold down the Volume down button on the side of the 32.
Press the power button while holding the volume down button
After a couple seconds you should get a recovery system screen
You can either format the entire device or just the android system.

Is anyone else having trouble "activating" the A32 using this APK? When I go to sign in with a newly created Google account (created on website) it just spins and says it has trouble communicating with the server

That is more than likely a problem with the Google servers. Many users on here have sometimes odd times when market access is slow, downloads for apps hang etc.
Best action would be to be patient and try again or shutdown and restart to establish a new connection.

Just wanted to post that I found the issue I was having. I hadn't upgraded to 1.0.70 yet so even though the APK installed it wasn't communicating. A quick firmware update to 1.0.70 fixed it and it's working great now.

Just download the marketplace apk from here. Drag & drop it to the root of the archos (should be D: in my computer or something similar, then turn off usb on the archos (look in notifications). Then use files to navigate to the root of the archos (should be there as soon as you open the files app) and install.

Ok got it working. Had to Reset the Android data from the recovery screen. Once I did that had no problems. Hope this helps someone else.

market place seem to fail with update 1.0.84. first

edit:1
FIXED: Well when i installed the market after the 1.0.84 update, it was failing every single download attempted. What i did was uninstall-ed it via the uninstaller app the came "with" the apk, then uninstall-ed it via the acrhos uninstaller, reboot then reinstalled the market apk done, works :D
