Archos 504 problem with TV

My Archos 504 is no longer running correctly on the TV, the picture is a strange jumble of colours and zig zags. It was working fine a few days ago,when I connect now I get this strange effect.

It the same if I connect it with the docking station or the phono lead

Any Ideas.

othrs have had success with fixing other symptoms via the brass looking reset button located under the battery. Worth a try.
