604 reboots in dvr

Hi.

I've got a 604 which keeps on rebooting sporadically when I try to record TV. Playback via the dvr is generally OK but I can't record more than 10mins before the 604 reboots - the resulting file is unplayable ( damaged or incomplete ).

Ive tried all the basics - hard reset , reformat , fresh install of firmware etc but it has made no difference. I have checked /repaired the hdd under windows and no errors were found. The dvr itself is OK as I can record without reboot on a 504.

Any suggestions ?

This does not answer your question but i am adding to it. I also have the same problem, but it seems that when ever I have my archos 604 on the dvr station, (UNLESS IT IS ONLY CHARGING AND NOTHING ELSE) then it will freeze and attempt to re-boot. I play music through the dvr station and ive tried using phono/scart connections to my music system which works fine, but then after a while (e.g. 3-5 songs) it will freeze, which is very annoying. I tried using a phono to standard jack connection too (thinking that it was the phono connections) but this option didnt work either ... the same would happen. THIS IS REALLY BUGGING ME, AND I WOULD LOVE IF SOMEONE, MAYBE AN ADMIN COULD HELP OUT. Is it broken?

I've also got this problem, but ow it's got even worse. My archos will freeze even if it's not on the dvr station. And now even worse, my archos won't even turn on; I get the green archos writing appear and then it blurs and the thing has frozen. Ive tried a few things, but if I can't even star it up then I can't connect to my pc or use any of its format tools. Can an admin plz help
