504 restore error

hi guys,
i encounterd a problem with my 504 today, i went to restore it whilst the harddrive was formatting i had a powercut my unit now says "recovery mode 4"
i've connected it to my pc like it says on the screen and downloaded new firmware but the unit yet i can't see the unit on my computer. has anyone else encounterd a problem like this, any help would be apreciated
