Perhaps creating an FAQ that is stickied for this forum that addresses the purpose, what is not covered, and where to go for other topics? I like the idea of signposts for users so at least they're given some info to work with before asking questions. "Do not enter if ... " or "Only come here for ..." kind of thing.

The proscribed tags would also be covered in the FAQ sticky.

I imagine it will happen eventually when Charbax has the time. He's the only one who can implement the changes and he's a busy guy.

What exact changes he'll decide on remain to be seen.
