custom fonts in custom firmware?

Post by pbt »

Is anyone working on customized AVOS firmware beside the available OE stuff? For instance, I study ancient Greek and Esperanto but the fonts in AVOS do not have the accented characters for these languages so anything I read in Opera has the unknown "box" character. It'd be nice it AVOS had the Gentium font. Has anyone tried rebuilding the stock AVOS firmware but with new fonts? Or what about tweaking the Opera ini files to do simple ad blocking like this: http://www.schrode.net/opera/url_filtering/

How difficult would this be? I'm willing to give it a shot or pass along a crisp $50 to someone who can provide me AVOS + the above font.

If you can settle for ├àngstr├Âm and Firefox mobile I could be interested and able to help. :)
