Hi there , first of all , thanks everyone for help me with my questions . Now I need to know if could be posible that Archos 5 , reads .rar files , if not , how can I convert them ?

rar files are compressed files, and need to be decompressed. winrar will do this for you. its payed for program that has a 30 day time out but after that it still works and just nags you to purchase.

personally i prefer 7Zip, its super lightweight and you don't get the pop-up nagging you to buy anything

WinRAR 3.93 file compresser is also good. Try to use it. It allows you to save files into both ZIP and RAR formats.
