Hi Everyone I need help really badly! I have a new archos 2 vision 8GB and it malfunctioning on me and its ruining my pc like when i want to restart me laptop its doenst boot up like its suppose to and causes me to have to do a system recovery which is bad. And the computer doesnt even recongnize anymore when I plug it in with USB cable. And it keeps flashing updating files and its just a big mess! I need to reformat it or something. There are two songs on it that I think are the problem But I cant remove them from the player or on the pc once plugged in Please help. I have never owned on before so I am not sure what to do. THanks!

windows vista and there are two song files that may be the problem but i dont see anywhere on the player were you can format it. like other mp3 players have a format option I dont see one on this archos 2 vision. also this is my first time owning one and I am not to happy so far.

Just plug it in and navigate to My Computer. Then right click on the Archos icon and choose format from the menu.
