CHANGELOG (based on .33):

Cell phone tethering: add DUN and PAND bluetooth support for connection and automatic detection

Cell phone tethering: add one click enable/disable shortcut in "Power control" widget

System Monitor: a new application to kill background processes, list system alarms responsible of waking up the product and "wakelocks" preventing device to sleep.

GPS diagnostic: a new application to monitor satellite reception levels

Storage: add FAT32 support for internal storage, with capability to reformat device in FAT32 (settings>about device->repair and formatting tools options). Note that if you choose to reformat your device in FAT32, file size will be limited to 4GB which is incompatible with most of the full length HD movie file size. Use of FAT32 filesystem format is not recommended for
hard disk based products.

Android GUI: add ability to authorize an application to go fullscreen

Archos Media Center widget: faster launch of media center applications

Video: allow volume autogain for files played from a network shares

Video: fix some WMV9 HD files not playing

Video: fix some MPEG1 files not playing correctly

All my games seems to run in fullscreen mode : the Archos menu doesn't appear and yet the Archos is not setup in "fullscreen mode"...
When I select "not in fullscreen mode" again, the menu appears in the current page of my game but as soon as I change the page the menu disappears...

we cannot force non-fs app to be fs, we only allow fs apps to be fs if they want

I checked this problem with Abduction (free version), Leonard frog or Air control (free version)...

I think the way to select the fs mode is great (two new options "home screen" and "fullscreen mode").
I don't see other way for that.

Other very boring problems for me (not dedicated for this release) :
- in the main Archos music menu, it's not obvious to use thumbnais : pictures are too small and titles are cut => I never know what is the last music played...
- in the Archos photo diaporama, slide is very jerky. That's the case from Gen6 but the slide was very good in my old Archos 605...

Just upgraded to this firmware. After the android flash screen, I got the following error message (mind you I tapped nothing at all):

Sorry! The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

What is acore? Could someone enlighten me? Thanks.

Oh, and after closing the error message box, I land at the calibration screen wizard thing.

Then a bit later, I get this:

Startup Wizard: This is the first time you are running Donut...

WTH: I am upgrading from 1.7.54, what gives? Anyhow, I say no to the reinitialization because it makes no sense. Plus, I do not want to lose all my third-party applications, since I didn't anticipate this issue, I didn't make note of "what I all had installed."

Is this happening with anyone else, or am I alone.

Ctl-Alt-Del isnt natural for you? You must not have ever used Windows...

Oh, and for what it's worth, I like it fine the way it is now as part of the power-off menu.

could well be, but that is MKT decision I think. For the moment, assume it cast in stone...

i have the same problem with this game Bebbled with fullscreen

A friend create a 3d video, it is impossible to read on the Archos.
