Ok I was thinking that when I ever get a car stereo with an Aux in jack it would be cool to just pick up a minijack connector with no cord just a 90 degree angle between the 2 ends. I am thinking that since the 3 is so lightweight it might be able to connect without a holder in this manner (perhaps with a mod behind the 3 to keep it from tipping over). Anyway if someone is able to try this idea out let me know how it works and any mod you come up with to make it work.

why dont you just use the radio transmitter ?

Someone here suggested that line out sound quality beats the fm transmitter hands down so this is why I came up with this idea.
