HHHelp! completly stuck!

Firstly - I am new here and not too techy so be warned!!

I bought 30 704wifi 80gb from a liquidated company to sell. They only came with the unit and batteries,nothing else.

I bought from Ebay 30 USB leads and 30 "mains charging" plugs from which the usb connects to the Archos.

The problem is that although I can use the unit when plugged in this way I cannot charge the battery! What do I need to do to charge the battery? I obviously cannot sell them if they cannot be charged!

I am willing to send £10 via paypal to the person who helps me get this sorted as I have shelled a lot of cash and have had problem after problem with these units.

I think you need the power plug to recharge. I don't think they will charge over USB.

Just spotted your post, so hope by now you are sorted regarding your power supply issue.

Just wondered how much you are selling the units for?

I have a 704 which has a display problem, and after seeing the problems others have had after returning items to Archos for repair, maybe a replacement would be an option?

I am going to have to buy 30 mains chargers from the states .

As for selling price - not too sure TBH. Make me an offer if you are interested.
