Questions . AV 700TV

Hi everyone I'm new to this forum , have a Archos AV 700TV And have a few questions about it firstly l have never updated the Firmware, I've have it Three years . ( should l ) and secondly does anyone know how many freeview channels l should receive.( l pick up 23 channels ).

You should definitely update the firmware, its easy enough, and one of the benefits is that you should now get all the Freeview channels (except radio/textservices/red button). I get approx 50 channels as should you, if you update.

I would do as chubby checker says upgrade to latest firmware, it tells you on the archos support downloads the firmware versions and what they fixed in the history. I did mine shortly after getting it a couple of years ago now because I wasnt getting all the freeview channels, go for it

All I WANTED TO KNOW WAS HOW TO UPDATE MY ARCHOS FIRMWARE ...

download the file directly from the Archos site. then copy/paste it in the root of your Archos device....

Then go to Settings ---> System ---> Update Firmware....

Very simple... you dont have to yell
