website not working

Post by Fkiter »

I just bought the archos 5 and I was planning to use it to access igindex.co.uk website. I can log on to it but 70% of the time the archos crash and reboot; the other 30% the archos does not do anything. Have you experience this before? Any idea in how to solve the problem?

Thanks,

Olivier

Not a customer of this site myself, but it's another one where you need to "scroll around and zoom in/out all the time" just like the iPod Touch to use it. Perhaps Archos marketing team should adjust its RDF a bit, when comparing itself to the other guys.

Crash and reboot on web browsing has been reported by a few others, might be fixed in next firmware.

Seems that your website is constantly active getting stocks. That is probably what's causing it to crash. Maybe if they fix the WiFi dropout bug it will work. But it's no guarantee.

Thanks for the reply.

Nitro, have you been able to log on? If so did you have to change any of your settings?
