recording problems

have an archos 404 , having problems recording , it will start recording , but stops before I want it too, it will store the recording but will not play it , it says it is damaged and will not play , anyone have this problem, just got it back from archos with a new battery and have done an update on the firmware, anyone have a cure, seems to me if the unit gets any vibration it doesnt like it , not sure if that is the problem

Not sure why that would happen, but try again and make sure all the cables are in nice and tight and that the archos is completely on the docking station, other than that I have no idea what would cause it, except bad firmware.
