I used to have an ipod and all of my song and videos are on itunes. But I have sold that and I am getting the 504 80 gb. Is there a way to get my songs and videos from itunes onto my new archos device. If so how can you do this. Thanks.

So a good solution for you might be to subscribe to http://napster.com, http://music.yahoo.com/unlimited/, http://www.virgindigital.com/, http://www.rhapsody.com/, or http://urge.com
There you could go pay for just the first month subscription (for example 8$ at Virgin Digital), go download all the songs in WMA that you have on bought on iTunes (or even if you want, go download much more than you current collection).
Then you can crack the WMA DRM using Fairuse4WM: http://www.google.com/search?q=fairuse4wm
and then unsubscribe your unlimited music subscription.
I don't think this should be illegal since you have already bought the music once.

Having unlimited music might be interesting to you anyways and so you might want to stay subscribed.. Using Fairuse4WM you might just be able to use the unlimited plan for PC the one at 4.99$ at Yahoo Music Unlimited. Those services have 1 to 2 million songs in their library, which might be approximately the same amount as on iTunes, so probably quite similar library from the 5 or 6 music majors.
The new generation of Archos players does support DVD resolution h264 video and AAC sound, the problem is, for now, that Apple does not want any competitors get access to iTunes music and video store content. But maybe the recent debates in Europe and other places about banning Apple's unfair monopoly on their DRM, maybe this will make it possible for Archos at some point to licence the iTunes DRM and thus provide support for all the music and video content from iTunes. So for now, iTunes DRM support is not available, not on the Archos, nor on anything else than iPods, Macs and PCs.
But hey hey, I just remember QTfairuse is also available for you! That is the solution for you I think. Just put your iTunes music and video in it and it will work on your Archos without any need to subscribe, download and crack windows media content:
