Is it possible (or safe) to delete the original /data/* to free up some space?

All the time. I don't have a smart phone so my A43 acts as my smart phone.

Ok, I tried resizing the images to smaller resolutions which also decreased the file size, but still no album art. Anyone have any other ideas?

All of my flac files have album art embedded in the tag. The album art displays fine on a number of different desktop audio players, however it's not displayed on my A43 using the default music app or third party ones too. Any ideas?

Mine gave me a scare this morning xD.
last night I've left it at ~11% battery charge.
Over night a got as usual a bunch of tweets, nothing special there BUUUUUUT :)

Maybe I pushed volume, turned it to take a better look. Click. nothing. strange ...

Then, as the others have said, you may have a bad uSD card.

I'm 99.9% certain that the SD card is fine.

The problem is with the removable SD card. By stuck I mean that it can't be unmounted. It can still read from the card though. But since it can't be unmounted, I can't access the device at all when I connected it to my computer.

Why are you trying to unmount the uSD card?

Do you have another card which you can try? If that works, then you can suspect a faulty card rather than a faulty device. If you have a card reader, use that and try writing to and reading from the card using your computer. Even the well-known card brands have a small but ...

With my uSD card in and working Settings, Storage didn't show it was mounted
SD card wouldn't show up when I connected to a PC via USB cable

Some more information would be helpful. By "stuck" do you mean it stops reading from the card? What program are you using at the time? Is the problem with the internal SD card or the removable uSD card? I'm guessing the removable card since that is the only one that can be unmounted. Have you tried ...

I recently got an Archos 43 and so far I love it except for this really annoying problem I've been having. At least once a day the SD card gets stuck (not physically) and it cannot be unmounted.
