try this..... take your tablet to public place with free wifi..... if it connect you have to fix your router or buy new one with b, g, N.

look on ebay....you might find new there but expensive or look for dead archos but screen still intact might get it cheaper.

try playerpro .......it have everything you need.

Have downloaded 2.4.80 but problem remains. 70 shows external camera attached but folder is empty


this happen before the newer fw coming and it fix most of archos owner.....it's software bug. i can suggest you to do hard reset to factory setting and load fw 2 4 65 to it...hope it work out.

good advice.....i ordered le pan from newegg yesterday....good price too!

download new fw 2 4 65 or 2 4 80 ....they fixed bug in archos to connect camera.

i think you better think twice do your homework before buy this....'cause this device have limit feather....why...i own one a70sIT six months ago. Just go to amazon or newegg and seach for tablet.i' m too look for new tablet this friday...hope you find what you're looking for.

i have netflix for sometime with older fw and alway asked for update but unable to do. i have the same problem you have now with fw 2 4 80 but this time it let me update.....try 3-4 times almost delete netflix app. someone out there must have knowledge to solve this problem.... ;)

you have to update fw to 2 4 80 then you can update your netflix.

With the new firmware update my tablet work as it should from the day one. They took them almost a year to sort out most of the bugs. I am happy with the tablet now but in two months i will give it to take new one. Archos must be much better and give more attention to the development department ...

you said there are no sound when play video app ( app from market also? ) on your device....is that right?

i tested my a70it fw 2 4 80 battery yesterday charged it to 100 at 8:45am went down to 2 end at 3:00pm....basic stuff watch movie, surf the web...etc so what's your device doing!!!

i understand ....you want cheap..cheap device but alot of feather....it is not going to happen.

dead A101 is junk and EBAY is the place you are going...

A70it can not supply power to usb thumbdrive more than 2g but it should work with HDD with adapter or usb hub with adapter.You should test your usb on your device if it can connect to pc....

or toshiba 10.1"...remember big holiday just round the conner.....

Just downloaded and installed firmware 2.4.65.
The changelog includes the line:
"PTP: fix USB host camera support"
And they have - I can now connect my camera to my Archos 70IT and transfer photos.

just downloaded directly to A70it so far so good. It fix some bug i have......
Rotation work the way it suppost to now....wait for this for so long.... ;)
Connect my camera directly to A70it now i can see my picture on 7"screen still looking for good apk to play jpg file... ;)
